About the Artist
Almond (they/them)
Almond, the artist behind CalicoParade, has been drawing for as long as they can remember. They were born and raised in Las Vegas under less-than-ideal circumstances, and moved to Michigan with the help of their partner and older sister in September of 2024.
When they aren’t drawing or working at their full-time job, Almond can be found looking at fashion boards on Pintrest, watching YouTube, cooking homemade meals, or playing Wii.
The Dream
Almond currently works full-time to support themselves and their autistic partner, who freelances online. They would love for CalicoParade to become their shared full-time job so they can continue living in the tiny apartment they love.
